Hoist It

The response so far has been excellent, but spots do remain for a few golfers who might be the first to lift the cup on this inaugural  Old Sod Travel event.

The details are still being finalized, but consider Enniscrone, Rosses Point, and my top-rated Irish favorite Carne among the likely venues for this Ryder Cup style team match.  After a first day practice round, players will be drafted at that evening’s dinner to either Team Coyne or Team Paddy the Caddy (the man behind much of the comedy of A Course Called Ireland).  We will enjoy the luxury of the ideally located Mount Falcon Estate between our battles on the links, and pre and post-tournament extensions will be available that will take you to some more of the hidden gems of Ireland’s Northwest.

Dates still TBD, but if you are marking your calendars, keep September 25th-29th 2016 open.  Email info@oldsodtravel.com to reserve a spot or ask a question–let Old Sod know you’re interested, and they will hold a place for you and your golf buddies.

Until then, play boldly.
